The Department of Transportation (DOT) announced a final rule which revises the Hours of Service (HOS) safety requirements for commercial truck drivers.

As the Chairman of NASSTRAC’s Advocacy Committee I have fielded calls from the press asking for our thoughts about this new rule. NASSTRAC will be issuing its press release shortly. In this Blog, we are briefly looking at the new rule and what it can mean for carriers and shippers.
